Steve Akerley

Steve Akerley currently serves as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Head of Intellectual Property and Litigation at InterDigital, Inc., a position held since June 2020. Prior to this, Steve held various legal leadership roles, including Vice President and Head of Litigation at the same company, and was a Member at Mintz Levin from January 2017 to June 2020. Steve's extensive career includes partnership positions at Dechert LLP, O'Melveny & Myers LLP, McDermott Will and Emery, and Townsend and Townsend and Crew LLP, spanning from 1995 to 2017. Steve obtained a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
