Xiaofei Clement Wang

Xiaofei Clement Wang currently serves as the Chair of the IEEE 802.11 AIML Topic Interest Group since July 2022 and holds the position of Principal Engineer at InterDigital Communications, where employment has spanned from December 2011 to the present, including roles such as Member of Technical Staff and Senior Staff Engineer, specializing in MAC/PHY Layer Algorithms and Wireless Communications Protocols. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Network Communications Engineer and Project Lead at Mayflower Communications, focusing on MIMO software defined radio and CSMA MAC development, as well as roles at Sonos, Inc. and Qualcomm, where responsibilities involved wireless communications algorithms and supporting standards activities. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, along with training in Japanese Language and Culture from Leiden University.
