Ted Larson

VP of Product & Project Mgmt at Interface

Ted Larson has worked in various positions in the engineering and product management fields since 1991. Starting at McDonnell Douglas Training Systems (Boeing), they were the Engineering Manager for Hardware Engineering, leading a team of 30 engineers to develop operator and maintenance training devices. From 1996 to 2000, they were the Director of Manufacturing at Symvionics. At Novellus Systems from 2000 to 2003, they were the Director of Manufacturing and was responsible for manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, quality and field installation of product. From 2003 to 2005, they were the Software Program Manager at Pearson School Technologies, managing a software development team located in Mumbai, India. From 2005 to 2012, they were the VP of Engineering at Vantage Mobility International, leading new product development in support of long term strategies. From 2012 to 2015, they were the VP of Product & Project Management at Foresight Technologies, responsible for Wet Processing Equipment design for chemical distribution. Lastly, from 2015 to present, they have been the Engineering Product Manager at Optolum, leading product development of custom LED lighting systems.

Ted Larson has a diverse education history. Ted obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute between 2004 and 2007. Ted also obtained a Stanford Certified Project Manager certification from the Stanford Center for Professional Development between 2004 and 2005. In 1987, they earned a B.S. in Electronics from Chapman University. Ted also earned a B.S. in Business/Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco between 1979 and 1981. Most recently, they obtained a Product Management Certificate from Cornell University in 2021.
