Kayla Parker

Kayla Parker is an accomplished arts professional with a diverse background in theatre and events management. Currently serving as an Associate Producer at True Colors Theatre Company since January 2023, Kayla also works as a Base Camp Employee Concierge at Interface. Previous experiences include roles such as Receptionist at Secret Garden Fitness Boutique and Lactation Skills Training Associate at LiquidGoldConcept. Kayla has contributed to the arts as a Directing Observer at The Woodruff Arts Center under the guidance of Kenny Leon and as a Youth Theatre Teacher at Southwest Arts Center. Earlier positions encompass acting and directing apprenticeship at Actor's Express and various catering management roles at gusto! fresh bowls & wraps. Kayla started a career in the arts as a Lighting Technician at The Carver Theatre and gained valuable experience as an intern at the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Educational credentials include a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Howard University and training from the British American Drama Academy.
