Richard Wang

VP, Customer Solutions at iNTERFACEWARE Inc.

Richard Wang has a strong background in the technology industry with a focus on customer solutions, professional services, and project management. Richard began their career at BlackBerry as a Software Developer, where they provided coding, editing, and troubleshooting support for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Richard also took on leadership roles within the company, managing software licensing issues and leading a help page development project. After that, Richard worked at NexJ Systems as a Professional Services Consultant, where they successfully delivered NexJ's solution to customers and managed feature development projects. Richard demonstrated expertise in various technologies such as CRM systems, EMR integration, Ad Hoc BI Reporting, and HL7. Following their time at NexJ Systems, Richard joined iNTERFACEWARE Inc. as a Manager, Client Solutions, and later became the VP of Professional Services and the VP of Customer Solutions. In these roles, they successfully directed large and complex EMR integration projects and provided strategic direction and leadership for customer solutions. Richard also has involvement outside of their work at iNTERFACEWARE Inc., serving as the Chair of the Program Advisory Committee (PAC) Board at Centennial College and being a member of the Customer Success Executive Roundtable at Peerscale.

Richard Wang completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Software Engineering and Management Option from the University of Ottawa, which they completed in 2007. Additionally, Richard has obtained various certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2019, IGUANA Integration Engine Level I & II Certified from iNTERFACEWARE Inc. in 2017, EDI Fundamentals & Best Practices Training from EDI Academy in 2015, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute in 2012, and Adobe Certification from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2011. Richard also holds certifications in Implementing a Microsoft Server 2005 Database from Microsoft in 2009, Language for Leadership Workshop from Grandy & Associates in 2009, and Speaking Strategies for Technical Professionals from Grandy & Associates in 2009. Recently, Richard obtained JHSC Certification from Workplace Safety & Prevention Services in 2019, and HIPAA Awareness for Business Associates (TX) and HIPAA Security certifications from HIPAA Training in 2018.
