Mirte Doomen

Research & Development Manager

Mirte Doomen is currently a Research & Development Manager at Interfood Group, where they have been since 2021. They are in the second year of a Master’s program in Food Technology at Wageningen University, specializing in Dairy Science and Technology, and are writing their Master's thesis on alternative methods of pasteurization for human milk preservation. Previously, Mirte held various roles including Technical Service Coordinator at Interfood Group, Intern in Quality Assurance at Delicia, and participated in projects related to food innovation during internships at FrieslandCampina and UAB. Mirte completed a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology at HAS Den Bosch, where they developed a gluten-free alternative for wheat flour-coated chicken products as part of a graduation project.
