Chris Skinner has extensive experience in the lumber industry, currently serving as General Manager of Southern Operations at Interfor since March 2020, after previously holding the position of Mill Manager. Prior to this, Chris worked at Sierra Pacific Industries from August 2005 to March 2020 as both a Maintenance Supervisor and Division/Plant Manager, overseeing the Quincy and Burney facilities with responsibilities including safety, P&L, environmental compliance, quality control, and overseeing staff. Chris began a career in the industry at Roy O. Martin Lumber Co. as Plant Superintendent and held various roles at Sierra Pacific Industries, West Fraser, and Plum Creek Timber Co., including positions as sawmill supervisor and field engineer. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Montana State University-Northern, obtained in 1997.
