Matt Black

Matt Black is a Production Manager at Interfor and a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, where they obtained a B.S. in Wood Science and Technology. From 2011 to 2018, Matt worked at Boise Cascade Company as a Green End Superintendent, focusing on continuous improvement in safety, quality, production efficiency, and operating costs. They served as a Team Leader at Moulding and Millwork from 2010 to 2011, overseeing the production process to meet quality and timing goals. Additionally, Matt has been an official for the NCAA since 2009, demonstrating the ability to make instant decisions and act as a positive role model for young individuals.
