Robert Miron

Robert Miron has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Robert is currently serving as the Director of the OT Integration Team at Interfor since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of IT - Eastern Canada at Interfor from February 2022 to October 2022.

Before joining Interfor, Robert was the owner of RMGP Informatique enr. since August 2009, where they worked as a bilingual IT Manager with expertise in project management, technical support, and business continuity.

From February 2011 to October 2021, Robert worked at EACOM Timber Corporation, initially as the Senior Director of Information and Communications Technology and later as the Principal Director of Information Technology. In these roles, they were responsible for strategic IT planning, project management, technical support, and business continuity.

Prior to that, Robert worked at CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center as a Consultant - IT Project Management from August 2009 to January 2011. Robert managed various IT projects, including system enhancements for laboratory systems and the implementation of a high-definition optical scanner for orthosis production.

Robert also gained experience at Sobeys as the Manager of IT Infrastructure for the Quebec region from September 2007 to May 2009. In this role, they were responsible for organizing and leading IT infrastructure and operations activities for the Quebec region.

Additionally, Robert worked at CSSS d'Ahuntsic et Montréal-Nord as a Consultant - Chief of Service - Information Technology from December 2006 to September 2007. Here, they managed a team of 10 technicians to support the IT infrastructure and telecommunications for over 1,200 clients across 9 sites.

Their early career includes a long tenure at Stiefel Canada Inc, starting as the Director of IT in August 1985 and concluding in September 2005. Robert also served as the MIS Manager at Stiefel during this period.
