Stefan Thomas is a technology entrepreneur and leader, currently serving as Founder and CEO of Coil since May 2018, where the focus is on creating a sustainable business model for digital content creators. As Chairperson of the Board for the Interledger Foundation, since April 2020, Stefan advocates for innovative open payment standards to enhance global financial accessibility. Previous roles include serving on the Board of Directors for Imgur and the JS Foundation, as well as holding key technical positions at Ripple Inc. as CTO and co-founding WeUseCoins. Stefan's expertise is backed by a BA (Hons.) in Business Studies from The Open University.
