Jose Vales

Jose Vales, PE has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Jose is currently working at Interlink as the Senior Vice President, a position they have held since June 2023. Before that, they served as the Vice President - Construction from March 2020 to June 2023. Prior to their leadership roles, they worked as a Project Manager at Interlink from May 2016 to March 2020. Jose also gained valuable experience as a Cost & Procurement Engineer from June 2015 to April 2016 and as a Project Controls professional from August 2013 to May 2015 at Interlink.

Before joining Interlink, Jose worked as a Project Consultant at Gleeds for a brief period from May 2013 to July 2013. Jose also held positions at Turner Construction Company, where they worked as a Cost Engineer from November 2012 to May 2013, an Assistant Superintendent from May 2012 to October 2012, and a Field Engineer from July 2011 to April 2012.

Jose's career began with an Engineering Internship at Turner Construction Company from January 2010 to November 2010. Jose also gained intern experience at Armeni Consulting Services, LLC from May 2009 to August 2009 and at Skanska from May 2008 to August 2008. Overall, Jose Vales has an extensive background in construction, project management, and engineering.

Jose Vales, PE holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Building Construction & Facility Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained in 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering from the same institution in 2010. Jose has also obtained various certifications including Professional Engineer from the Departamento de Estado de Puerto Rico in 2015, LEED Accredited Professional Building Design + Construction from the Green Building Certification Institute in 2012, Engineer In Training from the Georgia Secretary of State in 2011, and OSHA 30-hour - Construction Health & Safety from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in 2009.
