Jan Bednář

Jan Bednář began their career in 1998 as a Developer & Architect at SPC Solutions, s.r.o. where they created an application framework in C# using MS Enterprise Library. In 2006, they joined Cleverlance Enterprise Solutions a.s. as a .NET Software Architect and Team Leader. During this time, they were responsible for analysing requirements, preparing materials for tenders, and writing web controls. Jan also worked on ASP.NET SharePoint WebParts, Windows Forms optimization, and User Interface redesign. In 2009, they moved to Intermap Technologies as a Senior Software Developer where they were responsible for Task Processor, ESRI Risk Portal, Intermap Identity Server, Microwave Link Planner - Towers Connector, and Microwave Link Planner - Web application. In 2011, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Monster Technologies and a Freelancer. As a Freelancer, they were responsible for searching for memory and handle leaks, designing and implementing XDML, T4 templates, storage abstraction, geographical clustering, and the first version of InsitePro product. In 2012, they joined Intermap Technologies, Inc. as a Sr. Developer/Systems Architect where they were responsible for SQL Stored Procedures performance analysis and optimization, Risk Management Application UI application development, Javascript/Angular framework, and 3D map view in NEXTWave. In 2015, they became the Owner of Jan Bednar where they provided IT Infrastructure consulting for small companies.

Jan Bednář completed their Inženýr (Ing.) degree in Control Theory from Tomas Bata University in Zlín in 2004. Jan also obtained three certifications from Microsoft in 2007 and 2008: 070-526: Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): .NET Framework 2.0 Windows Applications, 070-536: Microsoft Technology Specialist (TS): .NET Framework 2.0 - Application Development Foundation, and 070-620: Microsoft Technology Specialist (TS): Configuring Windows Vista Client.
