Daniel Smith

Daniel Smith has extensive work experience in various roles within the product management and business development fields. Daniel currently holds the position of Director of Product Management at Intermatic, where they oversee portfolio and product management for electrical and mechanical controls, timers, lighting controls, and pool equipment. Prior to this, Daniel served as the Principal at Black Dog Innovations LLC. Daniel also held the position of Director of Strategic Business Development at Heatworks, where they were responsible for strategic partnerships and business growth. In their earlier career, Daniel worked at Kohler Co. in roles such as Director of Product Marketing and Director of Water Filtration Products, focusing on portfolio strategy and market expansion. Daniel also gained valuable experience at Motorola Mobility, where they held various positions in portfolio and product management, business development, and sales.

Daniel Smith has a Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging Engineering from Michigan State University. Daniel also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Oakland University. In addition, they have certifications in Kohler Leadership Forum from Kohler Co. and Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from Motorola Mobility (a Lenovo Company), obtained in 2016 and 2001 respectively.
