J. Scott Patch

J. Scott Patch has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. J. Scott began their career in 1990 as a Senior Associate at J. Makowski Associates, Inc., where they specialized in managing and marketing natural gas and oil supplies. After leaving in 1992, they joined Central Maine Medical Center in 2001 as a Physician, where they also served on various committees and gained experience with Centricity EMR. In 2006, Patch joined InterMed, P.A. as a Family Physician and eventually became the Chief Medical Information Officer, leading the group in transitioning from paper records to a paperless system and achieving PCMH Level 3 certification. In 2009, they founded Refill Management Systems, LLC, a software venture focused on designing automated refill processing and approval software for medical practices. Throughout their career, Patch has demonstrated a strong aptitude for healthcare IT and has been responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and quality of care.

J. Scott Patch completed their residency at MMC. Prior to that, they attended UMass Chan Medical School from 1994 to 1998 and earned a degree in MD. J. Scott also attended Harvard University from 1984 to 1988 where they obtained an AB degree in Economics.
