Grigory Afonin

Grigory Afonin is an experienced project management professional currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Intermedia Cloud Communications, where they oversee a group of project managers and are responsible for creating mid-term roadmaps and managing engineering teams' backlogs. Previously, Grigory held various leadership roles, including Project Management Director at YOTA, where they managed a large portfolio of projects and transformed project management practices from a waterfall to a Kanban approach. They also served as Chief Development Officer, leading a cross-functional team of over 50 people and improving development processes. Grigory started their career as a Programmer/Developer at NotaBena and has held multiple QA and project management roles throughout their journey.
