Raquel Monteiro

Raquel Monteiro currently serves as a Software Quality Engineer 2 at Intermedia Cloud Communications since August 2025. Prior to this role, Raquel worked as a Senior Quality Engineer at WIT Software from September 2018 to September 2025. Raquel's experience also includes a position as a Research Fellow at Instituto de Ciências Nucleares Aplicadas à Saúde at Universidade de Coimbra from March 2017 to September 2018. Raquel began the academic path with a Master's degree project at the Institute for Biomedical Imaging and Life Sciences, where the focus was on evaluating an EEG-based neurofeedback approach for rehabilitating social-emotional reciprocity in individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Raquel obtained a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra, completing the degree in 2016.
