Mike Smart

Mike Smart is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education and business. Currently serving as an Innovation Facilitator and Personalized Learning Facilitator at Intermediate District 287 since September 2009, Mike has contributed significantly to innovative teaching methods. As the Owner of Japan America Design & Publications since January 2007, Mike has merged design with cultural education. Additionally, Mike has been a Japanese Instructor and Curriculum Specialist with Northern Star Online since September 2004, further showcasing expertise in language instruction and curriculum development. Mike holds an AB degree in Economics from Harvard University, obtained from 1980 to 1984.
