Stephen Higgins

Stephen Higgins has over 15 years of experience in the field of counseling, currently serving as a K-12 Licensed School Counselor at Intermediate District 287 since December 2007. In this role, Stephen specializes in supporting at-risk youth and pregnant and parenting teens, focusing on social and emotional learning, chemical awareness, and counseling for students from Kindergarten through Transition. Prior to this position, Stephen worked as a Senior Operations Specialist at GMAC-RFC from September 2003 to November 2007. Stephen holds a degree in Counseling Psychology from Adler Graduate School, obtained between 2007 and 2009, and a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Stanislaus, completed in 1993. Additional education includes attendance at National University (1996-1998) and San Francisco State University (1985-1990).
