Travis Voels has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Social Studies Instructor for Northern Star Online (NSO) since February 1994. NSO is a collaboration of independent school districts and educational service agencies aimed at enhancing online learning in Minnesota. In addition, Travis has held positions as a 7-12 Social Studies Instructor and as a Teacher on Special Assignment focusing on Testing and Assessment, primarily as the COGNOS BI Professional for the district. Since January 2006, Travis has also been the owner of Boreal-Wealds Photography, providing professional photography services for various events and portraits. Travis holds a B.A. in Political Science from Bethel University and a M.A. in Secondary Education from the University of St. Thomas.
