Wayne Mitchell is a Senior Economist at the International Monetary Fund, where they are currently focused on a country assignment in Zimbabwe. Previously, they held various senior roles within the IMF, serving as Resident Representative in Sierra Leone and covering regions in the Western Hemisphere, as well as several assignments in Africa and the Caribbean. Prior to their tenure at the IMF, Wayne gained experience as an Economist at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank and as a Statistician for the St. Lucia Ministry of Finance, Planning and Statistics.
