International Special Risks, Inc. (ISR), with offices from Maine to Florida, is the largest Marine intermediary insurance broker on the East Coast. We pride ourselves on providing professional technical expertise and tremendous market access to retail agents and brokers. While mainstream marine business continues to be the focal point of ISR, we currently place both full and participating lines in the US market for some of the world's largest marine accounts. We are not surplus lines brokers, but rather marine insurance specialists.

ISR helps you write more marine business, and keep the business you currently control. We currently place business for large national brokers and the typical "main street" agency alike. Delegating the marketing of your marine accounts to ISR frees more of your time to invest in soliciting new business. We are successful for one simple reason; we consistently deliver products that sell.

Claim service and management are other critical components in marketing and retaining our business. Our claims department is fully staffed by marine claims professionals with experience in all facets of marine coverage. In addition, we have extensive relationships with Marine Surveyors, Adjusters, and Third Party Administrators. We understand the importance of expeditious and fair claims settlement, and will work with you to help your client return to their normal operations as soon as possible.
