Joy Chesbrough

Joy Chesbrough has a diverse range of work experience across various organizations. Joy has served as an Advisory Board Member at Delicious Future since 2023, where they contribute to promoting sustainable food and climate practices. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Philanthropy Officer at Internet Archive from 2019. Joy has held leadership positions such as Chief Development Officer at The Gorilla Foundation, Chief Executive Officer at Philanthrovation, and Chief Philanthropy Officer at Parkinson's Institute and Clinical Center. Joy has also worked as a Senior Director of Development at World Vision and Chief Philanthropy Officer at PetSmart. Joy Chesbrough has a diverse education history. Joy attended the MIT Sloan School of Management from 2021 to 2022, specializing in Blockchain Technologies. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Nonprofit Leadership & Management from the University of San Diego in 2007. Joy also holds a Bachelor's degree in Cross-Cultural Communication & International Studies from Europa Nazaraer Universitaet in Switzerland, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Point Loma Nazarene University. In addition to their degrees, Joy has obtained certifications as a Certified Leadership Consultant (MCP) from the CEN - Center for Excellence in Nonprofits in 2020, and as a Grant Professional Certified (GPC) from the GRANT PROFESSIONALS CERTIFICATION INSTITUTE in 2004.
