Ed Gardner has worked in the quality engineering and management field since 1985. Ed began their career as an ISO Technical/Quality Management Lead at International Business Machines (IBM). During their time at IBM, they were the Lead Quality Engineer/Manager at the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) Technical Center in Pomona, New Jersey. In 1991, they moved to Loral Space Systems as an ISO Lead Assessor/Manager. After this, they joined Lockheed Martin in 1995 as a Quality Engineering Manager/Technical Lead. In 2004, they worked as a Certified ISO Lead Auditor for Orion Registrar. Ed then moved to Sand Springs Development Corporation in 2012 as a Proposal/Quality Manager. In 2022, they joined Internet Sciences Inc. as Vice President and is currently employed at Value Management Services, LLC since 2012, where they are a Proposal/Quality Manager.

Ed Gardner obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Mathematics from the University of Maryland/University College. Prior to that, they attended Williamsport High School. Ed also holds two certifications: Certified ISO Lead Assessor from Orion Registrar, Inc. obtained in October 1995, and Certified Software Quality Engineer from the American Society of Quality obtained in October 1995.
