Jeff Bartig

Jeff Bartig is a Senior Interconnection Architect at Internet2, where they have been responsible for architecting and operating interconnection and peering services since 2016. With over 30 years of experience in service provider networking and peering, they have successfully managed negotiations and capacity planning, achieving significant cost reductions in interconnection fees. Previously, Jeff served as a Software Engineer in the Psychology Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and held various roles in network architecture and engineering, contributing to the development of Wisconsin’s regional education network and establishing its first public peering exchange.
