Alan Kwon

Alan Kwon has over 20 years of experience in the software engineering industry. Alan began their career in 1996 as a Senior Software Engineer at Ericsson, Inc., where they designed and implemented connection control and resource management software for ITU H. 248 compliant Media Gateway. Alan then moved to Nokia in 2002, where they served as Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead for Symbian^3 and Symbian^4 Music Player application development team, guiding the overall software architecture. Alan was also a committer for Music Player Application and Multimedia Application Frameworks packages for the Symbian Foundation, overseeing the quality of the software and the overall architecture. Alan designed and implemented Music Player application based on Qt for Symbian^4. Alan has been a Senior Software Engineer at Interop Technologies since 2011.

Alan Kwon attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics.
