Daniel Wheeler

Web Application Engineer at Interop Technologies

Daniel Wheeler has a long history of work experience, beginning in 1999. Daniel worked as a Sales Support Representative for O/E Mid Atlantic until 2000, when they moved to Sony Electronics and took on roles as a Knowledge Base Developer and Technical Support Representative. In 2005, they joined MIVA as a Software Developer I and Database Developer. In 2007, they became a Senior Software Developer at Softrim Corporation and then in 2008, they joined INgage Networks as a Software Engineer. Finally, in 2012, they moved to Interop Technologies, where they are currently working as a Web Developer, using Ruby on Rails, jQuery, and MySQL to develop customer facing web apps in a small team setting using modified Scrum and Kanban.

Daniel Wheeler's education history includes attending North Carroll High from 1986 to 1990, Salisbury University from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a BS in physical science secondary education, and Florida Gulf Coast University from 2002 to 2005, where they studied Computer Science. Daniel has also obtained several certifications, including Agile Project Management from Coursera in December 2022, Project Planning: Putting It All Together from Coursera in November 2022, Google Project Management | Specialization from Coursera in October 2022, Project Planning: Putting It All Together from Coursera in September 2022, Project Initiation: Starting a Successful Project from Coursera in August 2022, Foundations of Project Management from Coursera in July 2022, and Rails for Zombies Redux from Code School.
