Daniel Nagata

Daniel Nagata has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and security. Daniel is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at InterOp since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at AC Digital - Certificados Digitais as a Certification Authority Manager and IT Infrastructure Leader | IT Support Leader from January 2021 to December 2021, where they were responsible for the design, construction, and operation of a certificate authority and IT assets to support the certificate authority. Daniel also conducted audits that accredited the certification authority.

Before their role at AC Digital, Daniel held multiple positions at InterOp, including Head Information Technology Security from August 2019 to June 2020, IT Coordinator - AGCO from November 2015 to June 2020, and IT Consultant from July 2014 to August 2019. As an IT Consultant, they provided support for projects related to modernization of technological environments and offered information security consulting for IT technical issues.

Prior to their time at InterOp, Daniel worked as an IT Technical Leader at NetFive from November 2013 to July 2014, and as a Support Analyst at InterOp from November 2010 to November 2013.

Daniel Nagata completed their education at Unisinos, where they obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Cybersecurity Management in 2023. Prior to that, they earned a degree in Security Information from the same institution, which they completed between 2006 and 2020. In addition to their formal education, Daniel has acquired several certifications in various fields such as information security, privacy and data protection, virtualization, and Linux administration. Noteworthy certifications include Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) obtained from ISACA in July 2023, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) obtained from (ISC)² in August 2022.
