Paul Birrell

Paul Birrell is a Managing Director at Interpath Advisory, specializing in pensions covenant advisory. They began their career at Ernst & Young in 1996 as a business analyst, later transitioning to Transaction Services at KPMG in 2004. Anticipating the economic crisis, they moved to Restructuring in 2008, focusing on advising trustees and employers of defined benefit pension schemes. Paul has primarily concentrated on clients in the north of England while also engaging with national clients, particularly in stressed pension situations. They earned a BA in Economics from The University of Manchester from 1993 to 1995.
