Yves Weidmann

Yves Weidmann has significant experience in governmental affairs and public policy, currently serving as the Deputy Head of Governmental Affairs at Interpharma since May 2019, and as a member of the executive board. Prior to this role, from September 2014 to December 2018, Yves worked as a personal assistant to Federal Councillor Johann Schneider-Ammann at the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research. Yves also held the position of Deputy Head of Public Affairs at SwissBanking from February 2002 to September 2014, becoming a member of the extended executive board in 2014 and achieving director status in 2008. Additional earlier roles include independent financial consulting at UBB AG and teaching English at various high schools while studying. Yves holds a degree in Italian and English literature and linguistics from the University of Bern and a continuing education certificate in politics from the University of St. Gallen.
