Katie Whitfield

Katie Whitfield is an experienced ASL interpreter, currently working with Sorenson Communications and Interpretek since April 2022 and September 2021, respectively. Previously, Katie served as a scheduler for the Department of Access Services at the Rochester Institute of Technology from September 2018 to September 2021, where communication with interpreters regarding schedules was a key responsibility. Katie also held the position of outreach assistant at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf from September 2019 to January 2020. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in American Sign Language Interpretation from Rochester Institute of Technology (2018-2021) and studies at Oakland Community College (2017-2018) and Central Michigan University (2015-2017).
