Alejandro A. started their work experience in 2002 at PROCESAR, where they held various roles including IT Planning Specialist, Project Quality Assurance, and BCM Specialist. In these roles, Alejandro managed enterprise-wide business continuity and disaster recovery programs, developed incident management plans, conducted business impact analysis, and designed recovery strategies. Alejandro also implemented a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Knowledge Management Database and coordinated testing of disaster and recovery plans. In 2020, Alejandro joined Seguros Monterrey New York Life as an IT Risk and Control Manager, responsible for managing IT risks and controls. In 2022, Alejandro became the Chief Information Security Officer at Interproteccion.

Alejandro A. has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UVM, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. In 2016, they received an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS - PEOPLECERT. The same year, they also earned a Scrum Master Certified Credential from SCRUMstudy. In 2015, Alejandro completed a course in ISO/IEC 27001 2013 Information Security Management Systems Lead Auditor from BSI, as well as a course in Understanding Risk Management - ISO 31000:2009. In 2014, they obtained a COBIT 5 Foundation Examination certification from APMG International. Additionally, Alejandro has received various certifications from ORACLE University, including D50323 Oracle Database 11g: Security Ed 2 and D52474 Oracle Database 11g: Implement Database Vault in 2011, and D70662 Oracle BEA ALBPM 6.0 Foundations in 2010. Alejandro also has received training in Knowledge Management from ELEVARIA in 2008 and Unicenter Service Desk Administration and Analyst Operations from Computer Associates CA in 2007. Furthermore, Alejandro completed an Interpretation Course BS 7799 from DET NORSKE VERITAS in 2005 and is a certified Ethical Hacker from INFORMATICS Institute in 2004. Finally, in 2003, they obtained a Certificate in Foundation Examination in IT Service Management ITIL from Loyalist College, and in 2002, they completed a course in Introducción al Modelo de Maduración de Capacidades CMM from T&CDS.
