Jens Krause has a diverse range of work experience. Jens began their career in 1995 as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Münster, where they worked until 1996. Jens then joined COMDAT Media Research as a Graduate Assistant for a short period. In 1996, Jens joined TNS Infratest as Deputy Managing Director, a role they held for fourteen years until 2010. After that, they established their own company called M^2 - Jens Krause Market Research & Management Consulting, where they served as the Owner. In 2011, they became the Managing Partner at SWP GmbH and held that position until 2014 when they joined Interrogare GmbH as the Head of Marketing Research.

Jens Krause attended Ulm University from 1988 to 1995, where they obtained a Diploma in Mathematics and Economics.
