John Boonlard, P.E. is an experienced electrical engineer with a professional engineer license in California, North Carolina, and Ohio. Currently serving as the Manager of HV Engineering at Intersect Power, John has previously held roles as an Engineering Manager and Senior Renewable Engineer. With expertise in wind and solar generation, BESS, and high-voltage distribution substation engineering, John has contributed to various projects involving interconnection applications and system studies. John holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
