Mandy Chan

Mandy Chan has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of civil engineering, with a focus on renewable energy projects. Mandy currently holds the position of Director of Development Engineering at Intersect Power since 2022. Previously, they worked at TRC Companies, Inc. as the Director of Civil Engineering from 2021 to 2022, and before that, they served as the Civil Engineering Manager from 2021 to 2021.

From 2016 to 2018, Mandy was a Senior Civil Engineer at E.ON Climate & Renewables North America, LLC, where they managed civil, geotechnical, structural, and construction support for solar and energy storage projects. Mandy was responsible for defining standard scopes of work, developing site review processes, and analyzing foundation size and constructability issues.

Prior to their role at E.ON Climate & Renewables North America, LLC, Mandy worked at NaturEner USA & NaturEner Canada as an Engineering Manager from 2007 to 2016. Mandy handled multiple wind energy projects and was involved in project design, third-party engineering supervision, and production assessments.

Before that, from 2005 to 2007, Mandy was an Engineer II at RMT, where they contributed to wind energy projects and environmental remediation projects. Mandy performed assessments, analysis, and assisted with environmental impact assessments.

In 2015, Mandy attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied Project Management for a brief period of time. Moving forward, Mandy pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they completed in 2005. Lastly, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Washington, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
