Matt Walter currently serves as Manager of Land Acquisition at Intersect Power, a position held since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Negotiating Landman at Repsol from January to October 2023, where Repsol Canada Energy Partnership successfully sold its Canadian upstream oil and gas business for C$636 million. Matt also worked as a Corporate Development Representative at SECURE ENERGY and as a Negotiating Landman at Serafina Energy Ltd., which was sold to Strathcona Resources for C$2 million. Previous experience encompasses being a Professional Football Player in the Canadian Football League from 2011 to 2017, and holding various positions related to land and mineral contracts at Manitok Energy Inc. and Absolute Land & Lease LP. Matt's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Petroleum Land Management from the Haskayne School of Business, completed in 2012.
