Tarik Ibrahim

Tarik Ibrahim has extensive work experience in the environmental and permitting compliance field. Tarik is currently serving as the Director of Environmental & Permitting Compliance at Intersect Power, a position they started in May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Development Manager at Apex Clean Energy from March 2022 to May 2023. Before that, they held the role of Environmental Project Manager at Solas Energy Consulting, where they directed the permitting process and created compliance programs for renewable energy development projects.

Tarik also has experience at Summit Midstream Partners, LP, where they served as a Manager of Environmental & Permitting, an Environmental Compliance Manager, and an HSE&R Field Coordinator. In these roles, they managed various environmental compliance and permitting activities for facilities located in multiple states.

Earlier in their career, Tarik worked as an Environmental Scientist at Enterprise Products and as a Natural Resource Specialist II at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Tarik began their career as an HSE Trainee at Perenco.

Tarik Ibrahim completed their Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder. Tarik then pursued a Certificate of Completion in Data Sciences from General Assembly, which they successfully completed in 2017. In 2015, Tarik also obtained a Lead EMS Auditor ISO 14001:2004 certification from Exemplar Global.
