Thomas Weigel

Thomas Weigel currently serves as Gruppenleiter R&D at Intersnack Knabber-Gebäck GmbH & Co.KG since July 2020, previously holding the position of Senior Produktentwickler. From August 2015 to July 2020, Thomas was employed at Kentucky Fried Chicken Germany as New Product Development Manager and also led the QA Department during maternity cover, focusing on Supplier, Restaurant, and Distribution QA. Prior to that, Thomas worked as a Technical Officer, managing projects in development and quality and supplier management. Between December 2011 and July 2015, Thomas was Development Manager Machine at Tchibo GmbH, overseeing project management in product, packaging, and machine development. The career began as an Assistant to the Production Manager at Develey Senf & Feinkost GmbH. Thomas holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Food Technology/Biotechnology from The University of Bonn, obtained between 2005 and 2011.
