John Porter

John Porter has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. John is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Interstaff, Inc. and previously held the role of Director of Finance and Accounting at the same company. Before that, they served as the Senior Director of Business Unit Operations at Upland Software. At Spredfast, they were the Director of Sales Operations and later became the Finance Director. John also pursued an Entrepreneurship MBA at the Acton School of Business while working on financial modeling at Spredfast. Prior to that, they worked at Calxeda, Inc. as a Supply Chain Analyst and Business Analyst. John gained experience in event coordination as an Advance Staff member for the Office of Governor and worked briefly as a Business Analyst at Fat Tire Bike Tours. John began their career as a Financial Analyst at Atlantic Trust.

John Porter holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Acton School of Business, which they completed in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Finance and Financial Markets & Banking, from Texas McCombs School of Business, graduating in 2008. In 2010-2011, they attended Trinity Forum Academy to study Business and Political Economy, though they did not obtain a degree from this institution.
