Angela Okafor

Angela Okafor has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Angela started their career as a Student Intern at the Nigeria Institute of Oceanography and Marine Research in 2019. In 2020, they worked as a Data Analytics Intern at Hash Analytic and as an IT Intern at Upkey. In 2021, Angela took on the role of Business, Marketing, and Operations Intern at Bright Network, and later in the year, they worked as a Business Analyst/UX Designer at erpSOFTapp. In 2022, Angela joined Balancee Tech Solutions as a Product Designer before moving to their current role as a Product Designer at Interswitch Group.

Angela Okafor's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of Lagos. Angela also attended the University of Lagos where they obtained a Foundation degree in Pharmacy. Additionally, Angela attended Loral International School and obtained their WASSCE in 2016, with a focus on Biology/Biological Sciences.

Furthermore, Angela has pursued various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Angela completed the Ingressive For Good - User Interface Design program at Geneza School of Design in May 2022. Angela also obtained certifications in Foundations of User Experience Design from Google in February 2022, Microsoft Excel from A-Z: Beginner to Expert Course from Udemy in September 2021, and User Experience Design and User Interface Design Short Courses from CareerFoundry in September 2021.

Angela's additional certifications include Advanced Google Analytics and Google Analytics from Google in June 2020 and May 2020 respectively. Angela has also completed the Hash Analytic Global internship with Hash Analytic in June 2020. In terms of programming, Angela holds certifications in SQL fundamentals from SoloLearn in March 2020 and HTML fundamentals from SoloLearn in February 2020.

Lastly, Angela obtained the International Association of Safety Professionals HSE 1, 2, & 3 certifications from Deeprimex Consulting in August 2019, further highlighting their dedication to professional development.
