Cherry Eromosele

Cherry Eromosele is the EVP, Marketing & Corporate Communications at Interswitch. Cherry has over 20 years of experience in the field of marketing and has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry.

Eromosele began their career at GSK, where they spent two years as the Head of Marketing for Nutritionals. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all strategic and marketing activities for the Nutritionals category, as well as managing the budget and cross-functional relationships for the department.

In 2014, Eromosele joined Interswitch Group as the Group Chief Product & Marketing Officer. In this role, they were responsible for driving customer-led digital product leadership, end-to-end product life-cycle management and innovation, providing strategic direction for product development, as well as customer value management and product marketing functions. This was in addition to continued championship of the Group’s brand management, corporate communications and corporate social responsibility functions to drive key business objectives across the entire Interswitch business portfolio.

Eromosele has been instrumental in Interswitch’s success over the past five years, and they were recently promoted to EVP, Marketing & Corporate Communications in 2019. In this role, they oversee all marketing and communications activities for the company and is responsible for driving growth and awareness for Interswitch’s products and services.

Cherry Eromosele's educational career includes a Bachelor of Education in Biology from the University of Benin, as well as several executive education programs in marketing and marketing management from esteemed institutions such as Northwestern University, the Cranfield School of Management, and the Wharton School. In addition, they have also completed an Emerging Leaders Programme from Columbia Business School.

Cherry Eromosele reports to Mitchell Elegbe, Group Managing Director & CEO. They work with Tochukwu Okezie - Chief Legal Officer, Titilola Shogaolu - MD, Interswitch Financial Inclusion Services, Inclusio, and Griffith Ehebha - EVP, Risk & Information Security.
