Layinka J.

Layinka J. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to 2023. They started as a Sales Assistant intern at Game Stop in 2009, where they gained skills in customer service, communication, teamwork, and relationship building. In 2011, Layinka worked as a Peer Tutor at the University of Kent, helping first-year students and developing confidence, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.

In 2012, Layinka joined SportsMark Management Group as part of the Airport and Venue Team for the London 2012 Olympics. They focused on ensuring client satisfaction and safety during transportation, improving their teamwork and efficiency skills.

From 2015 to 2016, Layinka worked as an Intern at Stanbic IBTC, gaining practical experience in a corporate environment. They then joined Arial View Nigeria Ltd in 2016 as a Digital Media Specialist, where they worked until 2019.

In 2019, Layinka joined OPay as a Frontend Engineer, and later became the Frontend Team Lead in 2020. They led a development team, delivered quality projects, and increased internal teams' productivity by about 5%.

Currently, in 2023, Layinka is a Software Engineer at Interswitch Group.

Layinka J. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Kent, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their degree, Layinka also obtained a certification as a Front End Web Developer from Udacity in October 2021.
