Anna Engel is a bilingual Danish-American majoring in Computational Physics at Carnegie Mellon University. Currently serving as a Core Development Software Engineer at InterSystems, Anna has previously worked as an R&D Engineer at Delsys, Inc., where they developed a C# application for real-time PPG signal visualization. Anna also gained experience as a Computational Physics Researcher at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, implementing methods in Fortran to calculate superconducting temperatures. Their research in Condensed Matter Physics at Carnegie Mellon has led to a first author paper published in Computer Physics Communication.
