Gunnar Hammonds

Gunnar Hammonds is a Software Engineer in Cloud Services at InterSystems, where participation in a Solutions Development Program includes rotation through three teams. Experience includes containerizing Maven project build processes in Release Engineering. Previously, Gunnar worked as a Software Engineering Intern at M&T Bank, designing and implementing an automatically refreshing database system to enhance the analysis of an online-learning platform, while ensuring compliance with security standards. As a Research Assistant at the University of Rochester, Gunnar contributed to the development of a point-cloud hardware accelerator for computer vision applications and created a hardware accelerator simulator using Python. Gunnar holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Rochester, where studies were completed between August 2020 and May 2023, along with initial education at the University of Michigan from August 2019 to May 2020.
