Tom Helvick

Tom Helvick has a diverse range of work experience spanning over three decades. Tom started their career as a Credit Policy Analyst at ITT Consumer Financial, where they designed and implemented software systems for managing consumer loan portfolios. Tom then moved on to Prudential Home Mortgage as an Underwriter, evaluating mortgage applications and developing automated analysis software for the Risk Management Department.

After that, Tom worked as a Senior Technical Trainer at Productivity Point Int'l, where they facilitated computer training and developed systems for clients. Tom then joined Deloitte Consulting as a Senior Consultant, specializing in Microsoft development and architecting Windows DNA and .NET applications. Tom also created Deloitte's ITASCA framework for Windows DNA.

Tom's next role was as an Application Architect at GMAC RFC, where they served as the highest level technical expert in software development and set standards for new applications. Tom then became a Development Manager at GMAC ResCap, responsible for managing software development teams and ensuring compliance with business requirements.

Tom then joined Wolters Kluwer Financial Services as a Manager of Software Development, leading a team of software engineers in a matrix environment. Tom was responsible for technical implementation, performance monitoring, training, and career development.

Following that, Tom worked at Ceridian as the Director of Architecture, leading multiple scrum teams and overseeing the development of the flagship InView platform. Tom was responsible for budgeting, research and development, and career development of the teams.

After Ceridian, Tom joined Fidelity National Information Services as a Development Manager, leading the Identity and Access Management Program for Ceridian. Tom provided architectural guidance and product offering definition for a federated solution.

Tom's most recent position is as the Chief Technology Officer at Intertech. In this role, they provide leadership in staff management, sales support, client engagement, and project oversight. Tom leverages their extensive technical experience in DevOps, ALM, and solution development, as well as their coaching and relationship skills.

Throughout their career, Tom has consistently demonstrated technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to enhancing consulting experiences for both consultants and clients.

Tom Helvick attended Harvard Business School in 2014, where they completed an Executive Education program. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Minnesota from 1986 to 1990.
