Andy Olson

Andy Olson is an experienced geologist with a diverse background in various geological roles. Currently serving as a Staff Geologist at Intertek since January 2023, Andy has previously held positions such as Geophysical Logging Superintendent at Layne, A Granite Company, and Geophysical Logging Engineer at Southwest Exploration Services. Andy's expertise includes data collection and analysis using advanced geophysical techniques, and extensive experience overseeing exploration drilling programs. Notable roles also include Project Geologist at Excelsior Mining Corp., where responsibilities involved managing drilling operations and geological databases. Educationally, Andy holds a Master of Science in Geosciences from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
