Alberto Sosa

Alberto Sosa is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the agricultural sector and management. Serving as the AgriTrade Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean at Intertek since March 1997, Alberto has held various leadership positions, including Managing Director and General Manager, focusing on planning, coordination, and oversight of operations in Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay. Alberto's expertise encompasses quality audits and certifications for a wide range of agricultural products, including grains and meats, as well as certifications for ISO standards and consumer goods. Prior to joining Intertek, Alberto was the Gerente de Divsion Agricola at SGS, overseeing agricultural operations across multiple Latin American countries. Alberto's educational background includes an Executive Development Program from UCLA and a degree in Agronomy from the University of Buenos Aires.
