Alex Porter

Alex Porter possesses extensive experience in engineering and management, currently serving as the Global Director of Engineering at Intertek since January 2007. Previously held roles at Intertek include Sr. Chief Engineer for Performance and Durability and Engineering Development Manager. Prior to Intertek, Alex was the National Sales Manager in the Michigan Region for one year and spent nearly a decade as Engineering Development Manager at Accelerated Stress Testing. Early career experience includes positions as Development Engineer and Testing Room Engineer at Entela, as well as Research Associate at Western Michigan University, contributing to NASA's Airborne Information Management System project. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Engineering, both from Western Michigan University.
