Hugo Lozano

Hugo Lozano is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in quality assurance, engineering management, and standards development. Currently serving as the Regional Chief Engineer at Intertek since June 2012, Hugo is responsible for making critical decisions regarding standard requirements and test methods. Previous roles at Intertek include Engineering Manager and Engineering Team Lead, overseeing multiple departments and managing profitability through monthly P&L reviews. Prior to Intertek, Hugo worked at Baxter International Inc. as a Quality Engineer and Biomedical Technician, where responsibilities included data analysis for quality improvements and testing medical devices according to safety standards. Hugo's early career included positions as a Machine Operator at Corey Steel Company and Quality Control Technician at Holland Manufacturing. Hugo holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from DeVry University and various certificates in Computer Technology and Automotive Repair.
