Iker Amuchastegui has extensive experience in compliance engineering for electrical and mechanical products in hazardous locations, with a focus on testing and certification in accordance with standards such as ATEX, IECEx, UL, and RTCA. Since November 2025, Iker has been serving as the Hazloc Testing Manager at Intertek. Prior to this role, Iker worked at CSA Group from May 2017 to December 2023, initially as a HAZLOC Laboratory Technician before advancing to Laboratory Team Lead. Iker's earlier experience includes positions as an ATEX Test Technician and Ex TL Engineer at Element Materials Technology from June 2012 to May 2017.
