Joe Apala

Joe Apala has extensive experience in laboratory and quality assurance roles, currently serving as a Laboratory Chemist at Intertek since October 2019, where responsibilities include leading a team of assay technicians. Previously, Joe worked at Mainland Holdings Limited from December 2015 to April 2019 as a Quality Assurance Supervisor, focusing on team development, quality control implementation, and cross-functional collaboration. Additionally, Joe held the position of Quality Assurance Inspector during this time, conducting tests, audits, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Earlier experience includes on-the-job training at Water Png, where Joe was involved in water extraction and quality testing. Joe holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Chemistry from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology, completed in 2015.
